Faculty Member, Consumer and Design Sciences
Assistant Professor
College of Human Sciences
About
My research specialization is environmental symbology – studying the personal, cultural, and mythic meanings of space. I also have an interest in the symbolic aspects of human-computer interactions, in particular design-related applications of virtual and augmented reality technologies.
If you are interested in symbols, the meaning of place, phenomenology, semiotics, communication, architectonics, augmented reality, virtual places, word-magic, or any combination of the above then please feel free to add me as a contact.
I am an assistant professor of interior design in the Department of Consumer and Design Sciences at Auburn University. I hold an MFA Interior Design from Florida State University. My professional experience is interdisciplinary in nature and includes the design of residential and commercial interiors, web and print, graphics and interfaces, exhibits, visual merchandising, stage and film productions.
